A Macramé hosted in collaboration with T.Knots and Idlewild
This is one of my prettiest events, yet, all thanks to Idlewild Country Estate.
They’re the first venue that made it possible for me to host an event at a “human” venue. When I say “human venue” I mean a venue that is not a dog centre. It is quite hard to find venues like this.
Please give them some love and if you’re thinking of booking a venue for your next party, wedding or function, consider them, because they allow dogs and their food is amazing!
It is even more thanks to the lovely Taryn from T.Knots.
She has put so much effort into her first Macramé workshop that she hosted for us., she even gave us a bar of mini chocolate in our DIY bag.
She led the workshop calmly and excellently with all the dogs running around.

There is just something about local brands and giving them exposure thought my events. Khaki Paws twin shampoo and conditioner bars (for dogs) samples were a hit and to match Earth Ant send their human shampoo and conditioner bars. Simply Bee made sure we’re sanitised, Wildpaws Co. gave each dog a fancy bow tie and what is a goodie bag without dog treats? Hound and Home gave sample packs of their best treats.
We spent a gorgeous autumn morning making these beautiful little Macramés while having our dogs close to us, some dogs had fun running around and playing, others choose to rather chill with their humans.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a tasty meal served by the venue. And some even took a walkabout on the venue grounds, to play some fetch or to go say hi to the stunning horses.
Everyone had fun and had a good laugh seeing some dogs on tables, on their human’s laps or simply just running and playing with friends, as always.
Making your very own macramé with your dogs by your side is an enjoyable experience. I think they might just bring out the creative side in you. I mean, anything withdogs make it better.
