This Gin Mixing event had the perfect summer weather to cool us down with cold and refreshing gin.
We served gin made my 1st Principles Gin and mixed it with Barker and Quin.
First was the honeybush gin mixed honeybush mix, the naartjie and ginger garnished compliment this mix and of course we had to add a flower for prettiness.
Then we had the classic gin mixed with tonic, with mint, lemon and juniper berries.
The talented and cheerful Jaurné illustrated the cutest mini illustrations of our dogs, while the people enjoyed their gin.
She is amazing with dogs and capturing their little characters on small pieces of paper.
The best part of any event is when local brands get involved to showcase their offerings, by sending goodies to the guest. 1st Principles Gin stole the show with their amazing gin. The gin was complimented with the best quality mix from Barker and Quin. The Animal Studio made stunning bowties for the dogs, Floofen Treatz made cute little packets of treats for the dogs and Petsville sent vouchers to use. To match the aesthetics of this event, the amazing Kreet sent their concrete dog art to use as decor on the tables.
We were very grateful for the umbrellas Consol Glass sent us because it was a scorching hot day! Luckily the dogs had the pool to cool down.
The music was good, the gin was good and the food was good – all in all, it was a good day, withdogs
