Sunday morning DOGA; Yoga withdogs
The most perfect way to start your Sunday is doing some early morning Yoga withdogs – this must be a fact, right?
At 7 am on a Sunday, fellow dog-loving people came together to do Yoga with their dogs.
I’m sure many people will find it hard to wake up in the early hours of the weekend. But to the people with dogs who are hungry early in the morning and waiting for their human to feed them, it wasn’t a problem.
It was a crisp January morning as the people started to arrive, taking their spot and placing their mats on the dew grass to start their Yoga session.
Fresh air, dogs and a big open space; a dog’s happy place.
Immediately the dogs started playing and running around with their new friends and so paw prints and grass made their way onto everyone’s mats before the session started, but not as if anyone cared about that.
Ashleigh, our Yoga teacher gave a relaxed flow to her class and being a dog mom herself she was great with all the dogs running around and interrupting the session now and again.
These wonderful, local brands sent their amazing products for the guest at the DOGA event. The people received tasty health bars from Oorah, refreshing Ice tea from Uber Flavour, Better Earth Laundy Gel samples and the latest Pet Prints Magazine. And the dogs got scrumptious treats (obviously) from Two Ears And A Treat and perfume spray, that smells divine, from Eau De Pooch.
Some of the dogs decided to relax right beside their human who is doing yoga. While the other dogs had a blast playing and chasing after friends.
Doing yoga with your dogs is a way to have fun and relax at the same time.
There were occasions where dogs were on top of people, under people and running into people – but make no mistake, a great amount of fun was had on this day. I certainly will host another DOGA event.
The ticket price included a coffee and so after our DOGA session, we all enjoyed some coffee and a delicious breakfast at the Fluffs & Tufts restaurant. This gave everyone time to cool down and to enjoy their bar and ice tea.
We also got to spend some time with our fellow dog parents and with the cover model of PetPrints – Tequila. And Floofly and Pawsy had a stall there, selling some of their amazing products.
Looking back on this day, it was a great first EVENT withdogs and overall a wonderful morning that we got spend with our dogs.
